On April 28, a symposium on high-quality development of hydrogen companies invested by Sinopec was held in Sinopec Shanghai Conference Center, hosted by the Development Planning Department (New Energy Office) and SBU of Capital Management and Financial Services of Sinopec Group, and organized by Sinopec Capital. Zhang Shaofeng, Member of Sinopec Group’s Leading Party Member Group and Chief Accountant, attended the symposium.

Focusing on Sinopec’s goal of building "No.1 hydrogen energy company in China", the seven portfolio companies discussed in depth the core technologies and market application of the hydrogen value chain, and put forward their ideas and suggestions of strengthening cooperation with Sinopec in hydrogen energy.

Zhang Shaofeng pointed out that we should deeply understand that the development of hydrogen energy is an important initiative to implement the national strategy, vigorously advance the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, and unswervingly promote the development of hydrogen industry with high quality, high efficiency and high level. He required that we should adhere to the principles of open cooperation and mutual benefit, give full play to the respective advantages of Sinopec and the portfolio companies, and jointly build the hydrogen energy industry ecosystem. He ordered that we should strengthen the post-investment empowerment and explore the empowerment mechanism that is beneficial to the development of both portfolio companies and the industry.

Since its establishment, Sinopec Capital has invested in seven representative hydrogen companies around Sinopec's development strategy of building the No.1 hydrogen energy company in China. It is actively expanding into key technologies and core segments in hydrogen energy, and strongly supporting the development of Sinopec Group's main business.

The symposium was chaired by Zhou Meiyun, Deputy Managing Director of SBU of Capital Management and Financial Services of Sinopec Group and General Manager of Sinopec Capital. The seven portfolio companies invested by Sinopec Capital (including Enze Fund) attended the symposium. Representatives from relevant departments of Sinopec headquarters were also invited to the symposium.
