On February 10, Sinopec Capital held the 2022 Work Meeting on Improving Party Conduct, Upholding Integrity and Combating Corruption, studying and putting into action the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and its plenary sessions, the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches on ensuring full and strict governance over the Party, the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the spirit of SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) and Sinopec Group’s Work Meeting on Improving Party Conduct, Upholding Integrity and Combating Corruption, as well as the deployment of Sinopec Group and Sinopec Capital’s annual Work Meeting. The meeting reviewed and summarized Sinopec Capital’s work on improving Party conduct, upholding integrity and combating corruption in 2021, and made arrangements for key tasks in 2022. It emphasized that it is necessary to reinforce the political consciousness of making long term ongoing efforts, unswervingly adhere to the keynote of strictness, continuously enhance the work on improving Party conduct, upholding integrity and combating corruption, carry forward the spirit of “Showing Sword”(meaning dauntlessly combating the corruption), supporting industrial capital’s role in incubation and leverage, and accelerating the formation of Sinopec Group’s new engine for transformation and upgrading.
