On Janunary 28th, Sinopec Capital 2021 Work Meeting was held in Beijing, reviewing the work in 2020 and making the plan for 2021. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the meeting aims to put into action the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and its 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th plenary sessions, and the spirit of Sinopec Group Work Meeting as well as Group Segment Meeting for Capital, Finance and Other Support Businesses. 

In his written messages to the meeting, Group CFO ZHANG Shaofeng hailed the remarkable achievement recorded by Sinopec Capital in 2020，and instructed the Company to build on Group's Industrial Pattern of“One Foundation, Two Wings and Three Growth Poles” while focusing on new energy, new materials and other key investment areas.

In his work report, Vice Chairman, President SUN Mingrong briefed on the 2020 Business Review and 2021 General Requirement, affirming the Company to identify strategic opportunities through financial investment and serve as new engine to foster new momentumn for Sinopec Group.

In his address, Chairman HUANG Wensheng summarized the new endeavors and new achievement. While recognizing achievment, he also points out new requirements for the future, with emphasis on high quality Party-building leading high quality growth.

In the meantime, Sinopec Capital witnessed three blessings in succession, i.e., Sinopec Top 20 Best-Performing Units for Publicity and Ideological Work (2019-2020), Sinopec Top 30 Best-Performing Units for Financial Management for 2020, and the Excellence Award as well as the Engagement Award for Sinopec Capital Valuation Modeling Contest.
