On March 20th, Dr. Zhao Dong, Board Director and President of Sinopec spoke with Daniel Yergin, Vice Chairman of S&P Global on the Leadership Dialogue Plenary Session during CERAWeek2024 hosted by S&P in Houston. Dr.Zhao briefed China’s energy consumption and growth trend, shared the practice and deployment of Sinopec in CCUS, green hydrogen, SAF and EV charging with an aim to achieve China’s carbon emission peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

CERAWeek2024 was held from 18th through 22nd March in Houston, USA, drawing over 9,000 attendees and 120 media representatives from more than 80 countries worldwide. Sinopec has a senior delegation participating in the event.
